We sold this kit to entrepreneurs who earn income from selling "hockey puck" recharges. End-consumers now have access to clean, affordable light and energy. It's a win-win. We distributed 4,000 solar kits around East Africa and ceased operations in 2017.

In total, we raised $250,000 in funding from angel investors, the United Nations, social impact funds, and government and were successful in positively impacting the lives of over 20,000 people in Africa.
